The Worst Ever Destroyed Ship
The story of the Titanic.
On the night of 14 April 1912, during her maiden voyage, she hit an iceberg. She sunk 2hours and 40minutes later, killing 1,517 people, making it the worst ever water disaster. The titanic was known as the “UNSINKABLE.”
Only later did they discover that the Titanic’s capacity was 3547 but only had enough life boats for 1178 people.
Many men died, because of the “women and children” go first policy. The ship was destroyed because of the lack of knowledge that the controller had. He pushed the ships speed to the limits knowing that there was icebergs around the area. What he didn’t know was that the ship was going much to fast for its size. The Titanic sunk because everyone thought it was the “UNSINKABLE.”
Before she sunk, she nearly had another accident, 4-feet away from a smaller ship, the City Of New York causing a huge scare. The Wake by itself was big enough to knock over the City Of New York. The City Of New York was one of the larger liners of the time. That tell you how big the Titanic was and how devastating the accident was.
