It was not a magnificent end to the empire because a mighty kingdom did not attack the Romans.

This happened over a long period of social turmoil and economical decay. These factors along with the constant attacks on Rome from multiple tribes caused this once mighty empire to crumble.

First of all, the economy had a huge impact on the Roman decline. There are many factors that cause their economy to go greatly down. For example, the military expenses, high taxation, slavery, and expansions were the biggest factors that affected it. Military expense was so costly to the Roman Empire that they had to raise the taxes. With high taxes, citizens had to flee out of their houses and or farms to escape the high taxes. Also, there were too many slaves. This led to low wages. Low wages lead to people not spending as much. With people not spending as much it lowers the economy. Lastly, The Romans stopped expanding. When they were, they invaded and took the places’ treasures and wealth. With out this, there economy lowered.

Secondly, the Social life of the Romans also had a giant impact on the Roman resignation. The two major Social factors were Christianity and fear. Firstly, when Christianity stepped in, it discouraged the way of Roman society. Also, it discouraged the Roman army usage. Next, fear was a big factor because the Roman army hired mercenaries from other countries. If the Romans were going to attack the area that the mercenaries are from than who will defend the Romans?

Lastly, the constant attacks on the Roman Empire from many tribes such as the Huns, Visigoths, Franks, Anglo-Saxons, Vandals, and Northmen contributed the most to the decline of the Roman Empire. The Romans were open for an attack from their poor economy, social life and lots of land that they need to defend. It was a prefect time to attack the Romans if you wanted to. With all that land they needed to stretch and spread their army therefore weakening it. If seven tribes teamed up on the weakened Romans then they were bound to fall.

In conclusion, the economy, society, and the tribal attacks were all major factors in the Roman Empires decline. The military expense, high taxation and slavery all caused the economy to be a factor. Christianly and fear caused society to become a major factor why the Romans were defeated. Lastly, the Romans current state of Rome and the constant raids and attacks caused it to be a major factor in the decline of the Western Roman Empire.
