  3. On November 5, 1946, he was elected to his first of three terms in Congress.
  4. On November 4, 1952, this man was elected senator from the state of Massachusetts.
  5. He married Jacqueline Bouvier, nicknamed Jackie by the American public, on September 12, 1953.
  6. This man was elected president of the United States on November 8, 1960.
  7. On May 25, 1961, he establishes his goal of landing U.S. astronauts on the moon when addressing Congress.
  8. He launches an invasion on Cuba at the Bay of Pigs with the goal of overthrowing Fidel Castro and bringing a cease to communism in Cuba.
