The beautiful French monument, the Eiffel Tower.

Probably everyone, peope all over the world as long as their over 10 years, knows about the famous French symbol, the Eiffel Tower. This huge iron tower is located in Paris, France on the Champ de Mars beside the Seine River. This momentous structure was completed in 1889 and was the tallest tower in the world until 1930, when it was replaced by the Chysler Building in New York, New York. The metal structure alone weighs over 7000 tons alone with the whole structure over 10,000 tons. The main use of the tower is as a radio broadcasting tower and is great for this due to its outstanding height of over 1000 feet. The original creator of this monstrosity was Gustave Eiffel who the tower was named after.
