10 Weird Things We All Wonder About
95% of you reading this will think to yourself, “I have thought about that before… It is kind of weird.” Not saying we think about these things often, but they sometimes DO cross our mind!

You know you sometimes wonder what people think about you.. Does my hair look good today? How about my clothes? Does my breath smell good? Face it, no matter how much you say you don’t care about what people think of you, you know you care. Even if it is just a little bit…

Why is the word “abbreviation” so flippin’ long?
You’d think a word that means to shorten something… would be short, right? Wrong. The genius that um.. I guess, made this word? Well, he wanted to make things hard for everyone. I think about this everyday, it gets under my skin.

Why do they put round pizza in square boxes?
I’ve pondered this ever since I was a little kid. Really, I don’t understand. If someone has an answer to this, please let me know. Circular boxes would be pretty damn cool if you ask me.

If the whole, “i after e, except before c” really applied to the English language, wouldn’t “science” be spelled wrong?
I always went by that rule in grammar school. One day I had a spelling test and spelled the word “science” like “sceince”. When I got my test back and saw it was incorrect I was all like, “YOU CAN’T SPELL. I’M RIGHT” and went on a rampage. I asked my teacher why it was wrong and how come the rule didn’t apply to that word… She had no answer for me. The English language is so confusing.

Why do men have nipples?
I never understood this. We all know the purpose of the nipples on a female, but what about a male? They’re just kind of hanging out there.. no purpose in life. They’re probably really depressed.

Hahaha. Someone asked me this a while ago and I’ve thought about it ever since. It’s a silly thing to think about, but it actually had me thinking. I get bored, can you tell? Oh well.

Why do people count sheep when they can’t sleep?
What’s so special about sheep? Why can’t we count dogs? Why not cats? How about dinosaurs? Or aardvarks… The world will never know.

Why do banks charge you a “non-sufficient funds fee”?
If you have no money… Why do they charge you for the money that you don’t even have? I think it sucks that you have to have 5 dollars, or whatever the amount is, in your bank account at all times. Dumbest rule ever. Banks suck.

What happens when we die?
Is it just like sleeping? Except we don’t wake up.. Is there an afterlife? Does your soul live on? Does your life really flash before your eyes like it’s said to? It’s something everyone wonders about but doesn’t really want to find out. No one will ever really know for sure, but it’s fun to wonder about it, I guess.

What is the average air speed velocity of an unladen swallow?
Classic. If you don’t know what that means, you need to go watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail because you definitely missed out.

Males have nipples because of their X chromosome.
Everyone starts out as a female [hence the nipples] The Y chromosome from dad distinguishes you from a girl.

MinaCherie, I believe that nipples are a vestigial structure, which means that they might have had use in the past, but not any more. Like an appendix.
Square boxes for Pizzas:
Simply rectangular shapes are easier to cut and you waste less space for storage and transportation.
Nipple on men:
Evolutionary reasons… yes we carry a lot of irrelevant genetic baggage.
What happens when we die:
I am pretty sure that the part in our brain that is responsible for awareness dies as well
but considering what happens to your body you don’t miss much 
Why do banks charge insufficient funds fee:
Simply to discourage people from using it as a cheap substitute for a payday loan…

Actually, Pizza hut in the UK has hexagonal boxes – picture a square with the two front corners cut off.
Circular boxes = very hard & expensive to make in comparison to straight sides.
And the whole i before e except after c rule doesn’t apply to lots of words…including weird, deity, neigbour, weigh, eight, either, foreign, freight, height, heir, rein, seize, veil, vein, weight, and plurals of words ending in ‘cy’ such as frequencies, vacancies, fallacies etc.

men have nipples becouse when we are still nothing but a little blob inside a woman… ok lets just say that ALL boys are girls for 1 week which is true. when we are still little, nature decides if we are going to be a boy or a girl. we get nipples becouse the chances of getting a girl is higher… ok in fact i know it but i cant explain it. so just wikipedia it. the answer to that question exists.

#5 – Believe it or not all mammals start out female at conception. Somewhere along the line the male chromosomes kick in to force that gender but it isn’t until after nipples have been formed on the fetus. Isn’t the weird??

um for number 3…. i work in a pizza place and they havent said it directly but i think the whole thing with the square box is that its easier and faster to fold the boxes into shape plus like ive noticed that the pizza fits in perfectly and the sides of the square box hold in the circle pizza better so it dont fall apart as much.
but i think dominoes uses some weird shaped boxes there not square or circle
