IBETs or Integrated Border Enforcement Teams help protect the borders of the Canada and United States.

IBETs or Integrated Border Enforcement Teams help protect the borders of the Canada and United States. There are 23 strategic stations along the border the. US and Canada share technology to help prevent crime, they are basically the US and Canada’s Binational Bureau of Investigation.

My Question is:

Why isn’t there an IBET for the Alaska and Yukon border?

Do you think the IBETs are effective?

Answer: Canada and the United States don’t have a integrated border enforcement team for the Yukon and Alaska border because there aren’t many tourists coming in and out on that border. IBETs are important and effective, and they also have greatly lowered the amount of terrorists.
