Life as an Insect
We are always busy with our lives and we keep complaining, but we never stop and take a look at the fascinating life of an insect.

This is an ant carrying a leaf back to its colony. The well being of an entire colony depends on each ant to do its job.

This is a praying mantis waiting for its meal to drop by. Notice how well it blends in with its surrounding, its stealth most depends on its ability to camouflage and its stillness.
These dragonflies prepare for the mating flight during mating season. Notice how elegantly they are doing this.
This female dragonfly is getting ready to lay its eggs. Dragonfly eggs are laid on water surfaces or on vegetation near a source of water. When the baby dragonfly is born, it will be an aquatic insect that uses gills to breathe.

These two rhinoceros beetles are fighting with their horns. Beetles such as these are used many places around the world for entertainment. These beetles have very armored shells so it is very rare for one to actually kill the other.
