It refers to the chemical name of the largest known protein, yet people still wonder if it’s a word or not since it is not in any dictionary. The longest word that is in a dictionary is Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis which refers to a type of lung disease.
Longest River
We should all know that the longest river in the world is the Nile River, while the second one is, of course, the Amazone River. The Nile River is located in Northeastern Africa and it runs through Egypt all the down to Uganda. What makes this river interesting is that unlike any other river, this on flows upward where it empties out into the Mediterranean Sea.

The longest running TV show is Meet the Press, a news show in the United States. It has been running since 1947 and is still showing today. The longest cartoon series is “Sazae-san” a show made in Japan that has lasted since 1969 and is about to show it’s 2,000th episode.

The world longest song is “Longplayer”. It is a 1000 year long song which started in January 1, 2000 and will last until December 31, 2999. Once it ends it will start over again.

The longest animal is known as the Ribbon Worm. It is about 180 ft long. It is also known as the Lineus Longissiums and is found in Scotland.
Longest Living Person
The longest living person is Jeanne Calment who lived for 122 years and 164 days. She was born in February 21, 1875 and died on Augest 4, 1997.
