A Giraffe can clean its ears with its tongue……
A cat always lands on its feet, it uses its tail to balance itself while falling….
An Elephant can hold just over 2 gallons of water in its trunk….
Kangaroos can cover 45 feet in a single hop…….
A rat can last longer than a camel without water….
There are no snakes in Ireland or New Zealand…..
Different species of grass hoppers have different songs to attract a female….
A crocodile cannot stick out its tongue…
A hippopotamus can open its mouth 180 degrees….
Out of all bears the Sun Bear loves honey the most….
Most owls have a silent flight…
A common fly will eat its food, regurgitate it and eat it again….
A donkey can see all four hoofs at the same time……
All cows spots are different, no two cows will have the same markings…
A Zebra is white with black stripes…. not black with white stripes….
A lions roar can be heard up to 5 miles away…..
Only the male Asian Elephant has tusks where the male and female African Elephants both have them…..
The Blue Whale is the largest animal on the planet they can grow up to 100 feet (30 meters) , the smallest is Brookesia Minima a Chameleon that rarely reaches .5 of an inch when its fully grown….
Squirrel monkeys have the largest group of all the monkeys…. This is because they are so small the feel safety in greater numbers…
The lyrebird has the biggest range of vocals of all birds…..
Emus have two sets of eyelids, one to deal with the dust and one to keep their eyes moist……
A group of penguins is called a rookery…..
Horses love to run more than anything else in the world….
Hawks have the best eye sight of all animals…
Tigers sharpen their claws before hunting…

When I lived in Central Africa I did the cat test on local cats. They never landed on their feet.

Side note: Not that it really matters, but it’s not a cat’s tail that lets it twist in mid-air. I’m a physics major at the U of Washington and this was actually in our first-year mechanics class. I won’t bore you with the details, but it’s the cat’s ability to fold itself in half at the abdomen that lets it do this.
I’ve always admired the sincerity in your works.
