Forests are areas with a high population of trees. Forests are now being illegally cut down by the human race. Now forests only cover 9.4% or the earth and 30% of land.

Forests can be found in most places on earth but mostly around  the equator. Forests and rain forests are home to many species which are struggling to cope as the forests are being cut down.
