How many realities do you live in right now? That may seem like a silly question until you dig deeper into the possibilities. If there are parallel universes, you could be living out a different life in one of these universes. If there are many more parallel universes, you could be living out many different lives. Reality is a non-tangible thing, where the universe is a complete system including alternate realities. We could possibly be playing out our lives in different scenarios in these alternate realities.

The M theory suggests that these other realities are like bubbles or balloons existing beside each other as if your were holding someone’s hand.

There may exist multiple universes, or a multiverse that allows these realities to enter one another in ways we do not understand. Perhaps this theory explains what some people see as alien life forms, ghosts, or other mysterious creatures. It has even been suggested that the Bigfoot is such a creature, able to interact with our world whenever they please. I realize this is a far-out conjecture, but anything is possible.

If we accept alternate realities as a real possibility, then how do we know which reality we are in right now? How do we know if what we live and feel is a perception that is genuine? Perhaps we are living in a different reality than we comprehend. Many scientists agree that this is a possibility and many think it is pure nonsense. But how do they know what is true and what is not true. I do not believe anyone knows for sure. Our world is so full of mystery and puzzling events that it is not for anyone to say for sure exactly who and what we are as beings on this planet. It has been suggested that our entire world is one great illusion and we are but players on a stage.

Research cannot explain any of these theories without more substantial knowledge and experimentation. Think of Adam and Eve, believing themselves to be alone as the only humans on Earth. First, they have a baby and then more babies. Some scientists call these “pocket people”, with the world expanding as more babies are born, creating more “pocket people.” These “pocket people” would be living in “pocket universes.

Adam and Eve understood the world to the extent of their own knowledge, but the possibilities of these other realities where probably far beyond their comprehension. So are created possible pocket universes where the realities of these newborn children were living out other lives, without the information they could not attain.

This is, of course, all speculation. Perhaps one day we will find the truth and be astounded by the explanations of our lives. Imagine living your life in another universe where you are a completely different person with a different set of values. You could be anyone, but your core self would not change. This brings to mind the idea of time travel. It is possible that we could travel back and forth to these different universal realities some day when we become more advanced in technology. Wouldn’t it be cool to see your self living a different life than the one you live now? Who can say if it would be for the worse or for the better? This also opens up the idea of collective imagination. What if each reality was only a thought away from the one we experience now? Is it possible to alter the other lives we could be living in other universes merely by imagining what our lives could be like there? One small change in the collective imagination could change our lives completely in another reality, sort of like the butterfly effect, but not in a physical form, but in a subconscious idea or image. Would the changes have an effect on you here on Earth? Could you self in another reality effect changes in your life here? Everything is open to speculation, but it is a very interesting idea to ponder.
