  4. A tsunami is not a single wave but a series of waves.

  6. Tsunami Waves can be 60 Feet long and an hour apart.
  7. Tsunamis can cross whole oceans without significant loss of energy.
  8. A tsunami can be about a foot but as it gets in shallower water moving at the speed of a jet plane it can rapidly rise.
  9. Reefs, bays, under sea mountains, and the opening to a river can all slow down tsunamis.
  10. A tsunami can move five hundred Mph in deep waters and cross a whole ocean within a day.

    An interesting aaerticle,learned a few things I didnt know about them.Juast wished there was pictures added though,would have been awsome to see them.
