The Answers:

1) Romans called their alphabet the “Elements” because their “alphabet” began with the letters “LMN”.

2) 666 is one of two numbers that can be gotten using all the Roman Numerals once.    DMCLXVI   

1666 can also be made:  MDCLXVI

3) President Grover Cleveland’s first name was Stephen.  His full name was Stephen Grover Cleveland.

4) The eyelids.

5) In 155 million years Earth will have a 25 hour day and the year will have only 350.5 days.  So get ready.

6) A Sphygmomanometer.

7) Used furniture dealer.

8) Dreamt

9) The line would never end, as China’s birthrate exceeds its death rate.

10) A Lexophile is a lover of words and word plays, as in “To write with a broken pencil is pointless”.

    If you’re a lexophile, try out cryptic crosswords. They’re the best kind of pencil puzzles, in my opinion.
