President Einstein?

Albert Einstein was offered the presidency by Israel state leaders in 1952.

Literary drunkard

Edgar Allan Poe was an alcoholic and a gambler when he was in Virginia University. He gambled all of his scholarship money when he was in his first year of school.

The End of Days?

The ancient Mayans utilized a “Long Count” calendar which predicts that on December 12, 2012, the world will reach its end and give rise to the new world.

Cursed Number 13

Most people have an unexplainable fear of the number thirteen (13). In Formula 1 races, there is no car with the number 13. Hotels skip the number 13 when numbering their rooms.

A weird male bond

In ancient Rome, only men are allowed to testify at a public forum. They show the importance of their statement by holding their testicles and declare oath while holding another’s testicles.

Saint seer

St. Malachy, an Irish bishop and seer in 1148 made a list of future popes which started with Pope Celestine II in 1143. It shows that there will be one more pope after Pope Benedict XVI.

Not China’s Great Wall

Contrary to popular belief, the Great Wall of China is visible from outer space. The only man-made structures that can be seen from space are the Hoover Dam and the Pyramids of Giza.

Popeye’s spinach

The famous cartoon showing us how a can of spinach makes Popeye uber-strong is true to some point. 50 years ago, eating a plate of spinach will give you all the mineral your body needs to be stringer and healthier. It is due to over farming that some of the minerals are eradicated.

The dirtiest place

The mouth contains many bacteria that its number is the same with the people in the world.

Cheap city

New York City’s Manhattan Island was bought from the Algonquian Indians in 1624 for only $24!

    Spinach has an ingrediant that makes it hard for the body to actually digest it and make efficient use of it.
