We grow with learning new things everyday of our lives. When we stop learning, we stagnate. Sharing these trivia tidbits with you helps me pull these things from my brain too, so we are both given a gray matter workout.
I am not much of a fan of Halloween, so I hope you will not be disappointed to learn there are not Halloween trivia pieces in this bunch of trivia pieces.
Give the questions some time to sink in before you look at the answers. You just might be very surprised at what you really do know and can recall.

- The person who is given credit for the statement “Absence makes the heart grow fonder” is the one and only William Shakespeare.
- The sentence “Was it a cat I saw” will read the same frontwards and backwards too. Try it and see for yourself.
- If you have ever seen the Niagara Falls in the U.S. A. or Canada, you know how wonderful a sight this massive falls is to see. It completely froze in 1911. Some people awoke one morning not hearing the rush of the water, thus knowing something very strange happened to the falls.
- Rodin named his sculpture, now known as ”The thinker” first “Poet” after Dante, whom he admired.
- Eleanor Roosevelt is the woman who said that statement.
- October 10, 2009 Dell computer Inc. announced they will close the doors to their Raleigh, North Carolina branch by the beginning of 2010.
- The state of Washington has Richland, Pasco and Kennewick as the names of the tri-cities.
- The largest River in the Pacific Northwest of North America is the Columbia River.
- Raleigh North Carolina was given the nickname “City of the Oaks”.
