Tribal Somalia
The first indigenous groups in Somalia were the Somali and the Bantu.
I think that some facts about Tribal Somalia are:
- The first indigenous groups in Somalia were the Somali and the Bantu
-Somalians make up 85% of the population -Bantu and non-Somalians make up 15% of the population
- The Somalis are nomadic people and descend from Africa’s equatorial lakes.
- Within the Somali tribe are two distinct tribal clans: the Samaal and the Saab. The Samaal are nomadic while the Saab are primarily farmers.
- Due to the location of Somalia and the Middle East, the religion of Somalia is largely Muslim.
- Although the small Bantu population was a
minority, and have been mistreated and rejected, they have been able to retain tribal culture.
