A bee can fly as fast as up to 15 MPH. 4. Yes, the bee can fly forward. 5. A bee can also fly backwards. 6. It is also possible for the bee to fly sideways. 7. It takes the nectar of over one million flowers to make a pound of honey. 8. It is not uncommon for a hive to produce 500 pounds of honey a year. 9. Cool facts about bees I didnt even knopw in your piece.Saw a bee flying backwards and thought I was seeing things,glad I wasnt having read your article.

I certainly like this trivia. I just couldn’t figure out why bees ended up treated so special in the marine construction battalion.

Nice to know there are still some about. That nasty parasite is killing them off. Did you lnow they can fly through windows? Got one in here with me now.
I love ‘em they’re all over my fruit, flowers and veg.
